Linda L'ai named "Teacher Feature"
Linda
L'ai, teacher at Edith Bowen Laboratory School, was awarded
the Teacher Feature Award from KSL Radio Nov. 11. She received
a dinner in Salt Lake City, a night at the Capitol Inn, a $200
gift certificate to Office Max and will attend an awards banquet
in April with all of the Teacher Feature winners. The Edith
Bowen Laboratory School is in the College of Education at Utah
State University.

Annual Turkey Bowl Ends in 6-6 Tie
The Aquatic, Watershed, and Earth Resources faculty took on
their graduate
students in the annual Turkey Bowl game last weekend. Faculty
and students played to a hard fought 6-6 tie and celebrated
afterwards with a turkey dinner.


Gary
Straquadine Named 2002-03 Alpha Tau Alpha President
Utah
State University professor Gary S. Straquadine was announced
as
president of Alpha Tau Alpha for 2002-2003. Alpha Tau Alpha
is a national
honorary agricultural education organization, designed to help
agricultural
education students. Currently, there are 47 chapters and 18,000
members.
Straquadine serves as professor and department head for Agricultural
Systems
Technology and Education in the College of Agriculture.
