REVIVED CASE COULD
BE A LEAVITT HEADACHE
The Olympic bid scandal is back, and along with it a potential
headache for a few Utah politicians, especially Gov. Mike Leavitt
and some on the list of hopefuls eyeing his job in 2004. ...
As one Utah State University political science professor noted,
"It can't help the governor, but I wouldn't expect it to
have a far-reaching impact." Michael Lyons said voters
don't have long memories and in most Utahns' minds, the Winter
Games were a resounding success. (Salt Lake Tribune, 04/24/03)
