Wayne has over 30 years of work experience in the field of education and corporate training. He has served as a teacher; high school principal; K-12 principal; director of special, federal, and title programs; executive director of an area vocational school; dean of occupational studies; adjunct professor; special programs consultant for the Wyoming Department of Education; corporate trainer in private industry; and nine years as a program specialist for Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (a regional center for the Office of Special Education Programs in Washington, D.C.) Wayne has worked for the American Institute for Research in Washington, D.C., for the National Elementary Middle School Technical Assistance Center, and for the National Access Center. He received his Masters of Education from Colorado State University and has completed studies towards his Ph.D. His expertise includes NCLB, IDEA, monitoring and compliance, behavior management, paraprofessional training, training and facilitation, special education procedures, parent training, general supervision, and special education advisory committees.
